The Arkansas Funding Community is comprised of three seperate "silos". These "silos" are a venture forum, a mentorship component, and various educational resources that relate to both.
The "Arkansas venture forum" initiative will foster education on how to be an investor and how to attract and work with an investor. In addition, it will be a place to see video "pitch" presentations from companies seeking capital. The production of the "pitch" videos will either be produced in house at the Arkansas Capital Corporation production studio or on their own if they are approved by us.
The second module to be added is the mentorship component. This component consists of an "e-harmony" model for connecting mentors with those seeking mentors. It too will have educational components for both parts.
Collectively, these things when coupled with Arkansas SourceLink constitute a "virtual enterprise center" where entrepreneurs can access over ninety percent of the educational material they need to know AND also access the network of sources out there that can give them the personal hands on assistance.
